Fjorten år gamle Iruma Suzuki har nettopp blitt forlatt og solgt til en demon av sine uansvarlige foreldre! Overraskende nok bor han plutselig sammen med demonen som har adoptert ham som sitt nye barnebarn og har blitt overført til en skole i Netherworld hvor hans nye demon-bestefar jobber som rektor.
