Film opowiada o trójce nieudaczników starających się zrobić karierę w przestępczości. Cierpiący na załamanie nerwowe Anthony planuje ucieczkę z kliniki psychiatrycznej. Pomaga mu w tym Dignan, człowiek, który zdaje się potrzebować pomocy psychiatry bardziej niż Anthony. Ucieczka się udaje.
