"Dzienniki motocyklowe" to kino stylizowane na dokument. Jest to opowieść o sztucznie podzielonym granicami kontynencie, kryjącym wiele tajemnic. Są tam biedne miasteczka, w których ludzie walczą o byt i pracę, oraz hacjendy bogaczy. W podróż motocyklową po Ameryce Południowej wyruszają dwaj naiwni młodzieńcy, którzy odkrywają jej ciemne i jasne strony. Wyprawę kończą już jako dwaj młodzi mężczyźni, którzy w trakcie wędrówki podjęli ważną decyzję, co dalej robić ze swoim życiem. W "Dziennikach" odnajdziemy przygodę, pokonywanie własnych słabości i wspaniałą męską przyjaźń, która dojrzewa wraz z bohaterami.
