Cem anos após o final de Dragon Ball GT, todos os heróis da Terra morreram, exceto Pan, a neta de Son Goku. Ela tem um neto chamado Goku Jr., mas ele não tem a mesma bravura de seu tataravô. Pan sofre um ataque cardíaco e Goku Jr. acredita que poderá salvá-la com o poder da Esfera do Dragão de quatro estrelas.
