Polițistul canadian Louis Burke este repartizat într-o închisoare pentru a investiga crimele deținuților și ale gardienilor. În închisoare, Louis, folosindu-și abilitățile ieșite din comun în artele marțiale, reușește să-și salveze viața și să se facă respectat în acea lume violentă. Cel puțin, ajutat de alți doi prizonieri, reușește să afle adevărul despre crimele îngrozitoare. Într-o închisoare violentă și coruptă, polițistul decorat Louis Burke trebuie să se infiltreze în închisoare pentru a găsi răspunsuri la o serie de crime din interior.
