După o lungă perioadă în terapie de conversie gay, James, un tânăr copil minune la pian, se întoarce acasă, la ferma familiei și la tatăl său emoțional distant, Richard. După ce Richard îl presează pe James să renunțe la cariera muzicală și să preia ferma, James acceptă ca o modalitate de a-și răscumpăra trecutul.
