Un thriller despre percepție și control, Unsane (2018) urmărește povestea unei tinere femei care este persecutată de un hărțuitor și închisă împotriva voinței sale într-o instituție psihiatrică unde trebuie să se confrunte cu cea mai mare frică a sa. Dar, este această frică reală sau este produsul unor iluzii? Un hărțuitor digital pare să dețină toată puterea. Deși a facut tot ce este posibil pentru a scăpa de hărțuitorul ei, femeia nu se simte în siguranță, fiind într-o stare permanentă de alertă și teamă. În timp ce afirmă în continuare că un bărbat o urmărește și hărțuiește, ea este văzută ca fiind delirantă, iar încercările ei de a implica forțele de ordine conduc într-un fel la închiderea acesteia într-o instituție de boli psihice. Oare cine are cu adevărat mintea tulburată?
