Chaos (2005) este un thriller de acțiune intens, centrat pe un detectiv veteran (Jason Statham) aflat în dizgrație, care este rechemat în activitate pentru a rezolva o luare de ostatici condusă de un hoț misterios (Wesley Snipes). Pe măsură ce ancheta avansează, devine clar că jafurile au o legătură cu un plan mai mare și mai periculos, construit în jurul teoriei haosului. Alături de un detectiv tânăr și idealist (Ryan Phillippe), protagonistul trebuie să descifreze acest puzzle periculos înainte ca totul să scape de sub control.
