Povestea clasică a Cenușăresei: în mijlocul unei păduri acoperite de zăpezi abundente, eroina se luptă cu mama vitregă, care se pune în calea visului fetei de a-l întâlni pe Făt-Frumos. De la moartea tatălui său, buna și curajoasa Cenușăreasa locuiește cu mama vitregă, o femeie fără inimă, și cu fiica acesteia, răsfățata Dora. Cele două o tratează pe fată ca pe o sclavă în propria casă. Într-una dintre desele sale evadări prin pădure, Cenușăreasa întâlnește câțiva tineri, pe care nu-i lasă să vâneze animale sălbatice. Unul dintre tineri este chiar frumosul prinț al regatului în care locuiește Cenușăreasa și de care aceasta este atrasă pe loc. Atracția este reciprocă, dar prințul trebuie să-și găsească rapid mireasa, dintre fetele care vor participa la bal. Va reuși fata să iasă de sub tirania mamei vitrege și să găsească iubirea adevărată?
