The Dark and the Wicked (2020) este un horror psihologic atmosferic ce urmărește doi frați care se întorc la ferma familiei pentru a-și îngriji tatăl muribund. Odată ajunși, observă comportamentul tot mai ciudat al mamei lor și prezența unor forțe malefice care par să bântuie locul. Pe măsură ce teroarea se intensifică, granița dintre realitate și halucinație se estompează, iar o entitate demonică pare hotărâtă să destrame complet familia. Filmul este o explorare sumbră a durerii, pierderii și influenței răului asupra celor vulnerabili.
