Într-o lume conectată prin YouTube, iTunes și Facebook, Lola și prietenii ei navighează online, în timp ce îi evită pe părinții lor uneori aroganți și confuzi. Acest film este un remake după o producție franceză din 2008. În film, tânăra interpretată de Miley este alungată de prietenul ei și decide să îl urmărească pe cel mai bun prieten al său, iar în același timp mama sa divorțează, fiindu-i foarte greu să o ia de la capăt ca femeie singură; încearcă - totodată - să restabilească relația mamă-fiică.
