În timpul unei misiuni, astronautul american căpitanul Tony Nelson este nevoit să efectueze o aterizare de urgență care îi va schimba viața pentru totdeauna. Pe o insulă pustie din Pacificul de Sud, căpitanul Nelson dă peste o sticlă care conține o frumoasă duh femeie de două mii de ani pe nume Jeannie.
