Na každého upíra vraj skôr alebo neskôr príde pocit úplnej samoty. Nesmrteľnosť je síce skvelá, ale na čo je, keď ju nemožno s nikým zdieľať. Upír Lestat sa rozhodol pre dobrovoľný spánok. Tóny hudby ho však prebudili a on zatúžil po spoločnosti svojich súkmeňovcov. Stane sa temnou rockovou hviezdou a chystá sa zorganizovať jedinečný koncert, ktorý má prilákať všetkých upírov.
