Navihani veverički Alvin, Simon in Theodore uživajo v svetovni slavi svojih pevskih dosežkov, toda njihov skrbnik David se odloči, da ne smejo zanemariti izobrazbe. Pošlje jih v šolo, kjer se morajo soočiti s številnimi nepričakovanimi izzivi, dodatne preglavice in prve ljubezenske dileme pa jim prinese trio prebrisanih in pevsko zelo nadarjenih veveričjih spogledljivk. Zabave in smeha polni glasbeni dvoboj se lahko prične! Alvin, Simon in Theodore začasno postavijo svojo slavo na stranski tir in se lotijo učenja.
