Vojske lovcev na čarovnice so se že stoletja borile proti tem grozovitim bitjem in med njimi je bil tudi Kaulder, ki mu je uspelo ubiti vsemogočno Čarovnico sveta. Dandanes je Kaulder edini preživeli svoje vrste; že stoletja preganja čarovnice, ki se sicer nenadzorovano klatijo po svetu in hlepi po bližnjih, ki jih je bil izgubil. Ne ve pa, da je kraljica čarovnic vstala od mrtvih in kuje maščevanje. Pred njim je odločilna epska bitka, od katere je odvisno preživetje človeške vrste.
