Bloom med počitnicami v parku spozna novo prijateljico Stello, ko ji pomaga premagati skrivnostne stvore z magično močjo, katere se tudi sama ni zavedala. Stella prepriča Bloom, da se vpiše na šolo za mlade vile, na Alfeo v Magični dimenziji. Bloom s teškim srcem zapusti Zemljo, z novimi prijateljicami na Alfei pa ustanovi skupino Winx klub. Že na spoznavnem plesu šol, Alfee in Rdeče fontane, šole za specialiste, se Winxice srečajo s čarovnicami Trixicami. Kmalu po plesnem večeru sledi izpitna preizkušnja v črni močvari in tudi takrat Trixice ponagajajo Winxicam, vendar so jim zdaj v pomoč fantje Specialisti.
