Истражитељ Џес Коб, ФБИ истражитељ Реј Кастен и заменик окружног тужиоца Клер Слоун су успешан и добро уигран тим у анти-терористичкој радној групи. Реј и Џес одлазе на увиђај и откривају незамисливо, жртва је Џесина ћерка Каролина. Удружују се са Клер са циљем да убицу доведу пред лице правде.
