U školi na severoistoku Japana, pet prijatelja u klubu za animaciju, Aoi, Ema, Shizuka, Misa i Midori kunu se da će završiti novi anime pod nazivom "Shinbutsu Konkou SHICHIFUKUJIN" sa nekim krofnama. Od tada, iz dana u dan, petorica provode sve svoje vreme na produkciji animea. Strahopoštovanje od prelaska sa grubih skica na animaciju, i nespretna gluma u sesiji nakon snimanja... Konačni proizvod završen je na sajmu kulture šest meseci kasnije. Nakon što su diplomirali, i dalje su nastavili animaciju i zakleli se na neke krofne da će zajedno napraviti još jedan anime.
