Mr Inbetweeen är en halvtimme lång komediserie inspirerad av kultfilmen ”The Magician” och utspelar sig runt Ray Shoesmith. Att balansera ett förhållande, föräldraansvar, vänner och en sjuk bror medan man försöker försörja sig är svårt för vem som helst, men det är ännu svårare för Ray eftersom han är en torped. Ray ”tar hand" om folk, driver in skulder, beslagtar vapen och droger och tar ofta hand om folk på ett permanent sätt. Ray kräver respekt och tolererar inte när någon bortser från hans väldigt tydliga etiska regler.
