Bir bölgede çatışmaya giren bir grup Kuzey ve Güney Kore askerinden kurtulanlar, tesadüfen savaştan habersiz Dongmakgol adlı bir kasabada karşılaşırlar. Fakat köylülere zarar vermemek için köyden ayrılana kadar zorunlu ateşkese giderler. Ayrıca köyde, keşif uçuşu yaparken düşen bir Amerikan askeri de bulunmaktadır. Bu üç taraf, bir süre de olsa Dongmakgol'da beraber yaşamayı öğrenmek zorunda kalacaklardır...
