Jenny, mesleğinde hızla yükselme hırsıyla dolu, çalışkan, genç bir pratisyen hekimdir. Bir akşam, muayenehanesinin mesai saatinden sonra çalan kapısını açmaz. Ertesi gün ise polislerden akşam gelenin genç bir kız olduğunu ve kapıyı çalmasından bir süre sonra nehir kenarında ölü bulunduğunu öğrenir. Polisin, kızın kimliğini bir türlü teşhis edemediğini söylemesi üzerine Jenny’nin kariyer endişesinin yerini artık tek bir şey almıştır: Kızın kim olduğunu öğrenmek. Kızın isimsiz olarak gömülüp sonsuza dek unutulmaması için elinden geleni yapmaya kararlıdır.
