Flannan Deniz Feneri Gizemi olarak bilinen 115 yıllık efsaneden beyaz perdeye uyarlanan film, hala bir açıklaması bulunmayan bu çıkmaza kurgusal ancak ürkütücü bir çözüm öneriyor. Üç işçi, İskoçya kıyılarından uzakta ıssız bir adasında çalışmaya gider. İşçiler, 6 hafta boyunca deniz fenerinde bekçilik yapmakla görevlidir. Bekçiler adaya yerleştikten kısa bir süre sonra sessiz ve rutin yaşantılarına alışırlar. Ancak beklenmedik bir durum üçünün de hayatının değişmesine neden olur. Adanın kıyısına parçalanmış bir tekne vurur.
