1958 tarihli aynı adlı filmin yeniden çevrimi. Bir ateş topu ormana düşer.O sırada oradaki yaşlı bir adamla motorsikletini tamir etmek için oraya giden Brian (Kevin Dillon) düşen ateş topunun yanına giderler. İhtiyar olay yerine gittiğinde jöle kıvamında bir nesne görür. Nesne kendisini incelemek isteyen ihtiyarın eline yapışır ve ihtiyarı emer. Bu sırada Brian olayı görür. Adam acıdan inlerken kendini yola atar. Ancak bir çift yoldan arabayla geçmektedir. Arabadakiler Meg (Shawnee Smith) ve Paul (Donovan Letich) çiftidir ve Brian’ın okuldan arkadaşıdır. Araba ihtiyara çarpar. Brian, Meg ve Paul ihtiyarı hastaneye götürürler. Hastanede korkunç bir şekilde Paul’de ölür ve artık Brian ve Meg yalnız başına bu belaya karşı gelmeye çalışırlar.
