Osudová náhoda svede dohromady pětici mužů a jeden novomanželský pár. Ve chvíli, kdy manželé vycházejí z kostela, si v blízkém domě hraje pětice mužů s ostře nabitou zbraní. Nechtěně vystřelená kulka udělala rázem z nevěsty vdovu. V ten den se nevěsta z bílých šatů převlékla rovnou do černého. Jediné, co ji od této chvíle na světě zajímá, je pomsta. Pět mužů postupně umírá zvláštním, rafinovaným způsobem daným jejich charaktery a prostředím, ve kterém žijí.
