Il film racconta la storia di un ragazzo timido, Janardhan Jhakar (#RanbirKapoor) che insegue il sogno di cantare e diventare una rockstar. Sarà un percorso molto travagliato e doloroso durante il quale Janardhan incontrerà Heer Kaul (#NargisFakhri) di cui si innamorerà perdutamente.
L'amore sarà ricambiato dalla giovane donna ma osteggiato dalla sua famiglia. Janardhan/Jordan non si farà fermare e testardo continuerà a restare accanto alla sua Heer ma il prezzo da pagare sarà molto alto. La storia interiore e tormentata di un ragazzo con un grande sogno ed un grande amore.
