Žavingoji auklė Makfi (ją vaidina Emma Thompson) visuomet atsiranda ten, kur yra labiausiai reikalinga, tačiau mažiausiai pageidaujama. Pastarieji beveik puolę neviltin dėl dviejų išpaikintų savo pusbrolių iš miesto. Auklė Makfi atsiraitoja rankoves ir imasi darbo. Magijos ir stebuklų pagalba – nuo skraidančio motociklo iki mielo netikėčiausiose vietose netikėtai atsirandančio drambliuko – auklė pamokys vaikus svarbių gyvenimo pamokų, paguos Izabelę ir į visų jų gyvenimus sugrąžins tvarką, šilumą bei meilę.
