Setelah menjadi bapa kepada anak tidak sah taraf dengan kekasihnya, Marie, askar nakal Franz Woyzeck mengambil pekerjaan ganjil di sekitar bandar kecilnya untuk menyediakan wang tambahan untuk mereka.
